Rabbits are rescued from local animal shelters when their time is up. We take them into foster homes, get them medical care and spayed/neutered. They live at the foster homes until they are adopted. Rabbits are litter box trained and must remain as house rabbits. All new families are interviewed and must sign an adoption contract, that they understand that the rabbits are house rabbits, and if for any reason cannot remain with adopted family the rabbits come back to Second Chance for Rabbits. Copy of contract available upon request.
