Star Donor Charity Solutions (Star Donor) is a SaaS (software as a service) platform. We provide secure fundraising software and solutions for nonprofit organizations.

Our History

In 1998, the program was founded to provide programs and services to animal shelters so that they were better able to do their work to help homeless animals. The program was called Humane Benefits.

In 2002, the success of the program had become apparent to other non-animal-related charities. To broaden its service base, the program was opened to all nonprofit organizations and rebranded as Star Donor.

In 2009, Star Donor was incorporated.

To this day, Star Donor is a successful merchant services and hosted solution provider for the nonprofit sector. It maintains its compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards and continues to meet the ePhilanthropy Code of Ethical Online Philanthropic Practices.
